Lido Poodles was founded in 1980 by Susie Osburn in Las Vegas, NV.  At that time, Susie was a dancer in the

Lido De Paris at the Stardust Hotel, where inspiration came to name her breeding company after the show. 

She started breeding apricot and cream standards, and later began breeding reds. Her dogs show in

conformation, obedience, rally, agility, and field trials, and many have become therapy dogs and service dogs

for their owners. To date, Lido has produced two dozen American champions and many more obedience, rally,

and agility titles, including an obedience UDX. Susie was instrumental in getting red poodles recognized as a color

in FCI international shows, and is titled as a Breeder of Merit through the American

Kennel Club.

In 2000, Susie was granted a license to judge obedience and a few years later, rally.  In 2010 she was granted a license to judge all three varieties of poodles for the AKC, whippets, and all breed junior showmanship.

Susie is a member of the Poodle Club of America, The Poodle Club of Las Vegas, Silver State Kennel Club, Vegas Valley Dog Obedience Club, Black Mountain Kennel Club, and The Apricot Red Poodle Club.  Normally, she breeds once a year to have puppies in red and apricot.
